Middle East Yearly Meeting 2026

Due to the current situation in the Middle East, Middle East YM has sadly been cancelled. Please hold Friends in the region in your thoughts and prayers.
Below are the details of what was planned:

For the first time in many years Middle East YM will meet at Brummana Friends School in Lebanon in April 2026. Middle East YM brings together Friends from Brummana MM and Ramallah MM. Friends from other countries in the Middle East and from outside the region are also invited to attend.
The theme of the Yearly Meeting is: True Justice and genuine compassion for true peace
Registration is now open on the Quakers in Lebanon website.
Important information:
If you are thinking about attending you should bear in mind that regular travel insurance is not usually valid in Lebanon and you may need to buy from a specialist provider. We advise you to check advice from your government about travel to Lebanon, and you are encouraged to buy refundable travel tickets in case of any last minute changes due to the security situation in Lebanon. If your passport has any stamps from Israel it is very likely that you will be refused entry into Lebanon.
