Quäker-Hilfe Stiftung and American Friends Service Committee Gaza Appeal
Friends in the Europe and Middle East Section recognise the particular contribution and strategic role of the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) in responding to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza caused by the 19-year Israeli siege and wars there. Many Friends have personally met and respect the work of AFSC staff on the ground in Gaza and in honour of their tireless efforts, we are launching a campaign to support Gaza relief efforts at this critical time.
Quäker-Hilfe Stiftung, a charitable trust, was founded by the German Quaker organization Quäker-Hilfe e.V. and the AFSC in 1996. Both organizations develop and implement projects together with local partners worldwide. Now through May 31st, Quäker-Hilfe Stiftung, the charitable trust of AFSC and the German Friends Service organisation, will accept donations in euro to support AFSC Gaza relief efforts.
